After other airlines stumble, Cape Air finds the right mix

The major airlines of the United States are grappling with consolidation and fleet standardization. At the same time, some regional airlines are dealing with expansion and traffic development. Hyannis, Mass.-based Cape Air has found the right combination. According to the Montana Department of Transportation, Cape Air effectively doubled traffic on Montana’s Essential Air Service routes during its first six months of service. Stunning ‘Angel Horses’ on view in downtown Billings

Visitors to the opening day of the Yellowstone Valley Farmers’ Market in downtown Billings on Saturday will have a special treat. On each corner under Skypoint at Broadway and Second Avenue North there stands an “Angel Horse of a Different Color.” The life-size fiberglass horses were painted by local artists and installed at the intersection earlier this week. Troubling phone calls reported in City Council race

At least two people running for seats on the Billings City Council said they received harassing phone calls from a former council candidate, and one of the current candidates said the caller told him he was wasting his time and should drop out of the race. The caller, Brian Kenat, said he is active in Republican and Tea Party politics and was only trying to find out where the candidates stood on various issues, and he denied advising anyone to end his candidacy. She and her wife, Melody Fletcher, have been running their business, For the Funk of It, on Minnesota Avenue for the past five months, and they have a food truck, Flaming Ladies Barbecue. Officer in 2 fatal shootings is subject of internal probe

A Billings police officer who was found to have committed justifiable homicide in two fatal shootings in two years is now the subject of an internal investigation by the Billings Police Department. Police Chief Rich St. John said Officer Grant Morrison is being investigated after an anonymous complainant said Morrison has routinely been violating city codes in Laurel, where he lives with his family. New photographic studio offers ‘infinite’ possibilities

When Tim Struck first saw the building that would become his commercial photography studio, it had recently been vacated by a radiator business. The portion of the building he was shown, Struck said, “was right out of the movie ‘Saw.’” It was where radiators had been submerged in an acid bath, so besides being filthy with grime and grease, it stunk something awful.
