A day in the sun for Run for Life participants

Fambly

To the hundreds of participants in Saturday’s Run for Life Run/Walk, it may have felt a bit like July, when the annual Relay for Life of Yellowstone County comes around. But unseasonable heat for the fourth annual Run for Life didn’t seem to bother the crowd, estimated at more than 400. The run raises funds for the Relay for Life, which benefits the American Cancer Society. The 2017 event is July 7 at the Billings West High School track. (more…) Continue Reading →

A bit of excitement in downtown Billings

Miss

And some people think living in downtown Billings is uneventful. Since I live nearby, I raced down with my camera. (more…) Continue Reading →

Refinery

Interest already high in upcoming Billings city election

Paige

With three days to go before candidates can file to run in Billings municipal races, it’s already shaping up to be an unusually interesting election year. Architect Randy Hafer became the first person to throw his hat in the ring, announcing earlier this month that he intends to run for mayor. The mayor’s race is wide open because Tom Hanel, having served two consecutive terms, can’t run again this year. (more…) Continue Reading →

Erma

One hundred years to the day after the United States entered World War I, 23 female veterans of that conflict received a long-overdue salute.
