\"Polar\"<\/a>The Billings Depot will be presenting its extremely popular Polar Express event<\/a>\u00a0again, on\u00a0the first weekend of December. It features a children’s theatrical production, a visit from Santa,\u00a0elf dancing, cookie decorating, a silly photo booth, ornament making and more.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, not every family can afford tickets for their children to attend this event, so the folks at the depot are asking for community help in two ways:<\/p>\n

NOMINATE<\/strong>: If you know a family that works hard and would love to give their children this experience but simply cannot afford to purchase tickets, please nominate a family in need to receive free\u00a0tickets to the event by emailing us at jennifermercer@billingsdepot.org. (Emails only please; no Facebook comments.)<\/p>\n

Because tickets are limited and the show is designed for children 3 to 7 years old, we ask that you nominate children close to that age range. Children must be old enough to sit on their own with the other children during the show.<\/p>\n

Please include all\u00a0the following information in your nomination:\u00a0The family’s full names; family’s contact email and phone number; the number of\u00a0children 3 to 7 years old in the family; why you are nominating them.<\/p>\n

Children 3 to 7 attending free will also receive free pajamas to wear for their pictures with Santa, thanks to a donation from the Downtown Exchange Club Billings. In order to purchase the pajamas and get them to the families in time, all nominations must be received no later than Nov. 17.<\/p>\n

DONATE<\/strong>: You can mail or drop a check to the Billings Depot, donate on our website<\/a>, under “About our Venue,”\u00a0or call us and we can take a credit card payment for donations of more than $50 over the phone. We want to purchase at least 200 children’s tickets, plus their adult chaperones, so this will take at least $3,000. The depot’s mailing address is 2310 Montana Ave., Billings, 59101.<\/p>\n
