Competitors are allowed to use dead reckoning only\u2014which means employing\u00a0only a compass, outdated maps and plotters. No GPS, no service crews, no communication with the outside world.<\/p>\n<p>This was the third rally for Croft, the driver, and the second year that Croft and Cahill, the navigator, have competed together.
