The Billings Gazette <a href=\"http:\/\/billingsgazette.com\/news\/local\/new-restaurant-arriving-in-george-henry-s-space\/article_af9dabc8-730c-536d-9677-c2db777b313a.html\">is reporting<\/a> that Jason Corbridge has finally found a new home and will be opening a restaurant this fall.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Ever since Pete Tolton <a href=\"http:\/\/lastbestnews.com\/site\/2014\/02\/cafe-decamp-founder-planning-bigger-better-eatery\/\">reported here<\/a> early last winter that Corbridge was hoping to open a new restaurant this summer, we&#8217;ve heard countless rumors about where the restaurant would be.<\/p>\n<p>Most of the rumors placed it on Montana Avenue, but now we find out that he is moving into the old George Henry&#8217;s building on Fourth Avenue North, just east of the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/First_Interstate_Center\">tallest building<\/a> in Montana.<\/p>\n<p>Corbridge&#8217;s partner will be\u00a0Henry Kennah, a chef whose most recent gig was at Jake&#8217;s. They sound like a good fit together, with financing coming from\u00a0Greg Oliphant, another man with deep roots in the Billings restaurant scene.<\/p>\n<p>Downtown Billings still has some fine places to eat, but a lot of us really miss Cafe DeCamp, Corbridge&#8217;s tiny little restaurant at\u00a01404 Sixth Ave. N., which had previously housed Mamacita&#8217;s. Cafe DeCamp\u00a0was known for a menu that was always changing and always full of wonderful surprises, so we can&#8217;t wait to see what Corbridge and Kennah cook up at their new place,\u00a0Commons 1882.<\/p>\n<p>One small correction on the Gazette article. It says Corbridge spent &#8220;several years&#8221; working in Billings restaurants after Cafe DeCamp closed. Though it may seem like years since DeCamp closed, it remained open until early February of\u00a02013.<div class=\"well\"><div class=\"dfad dfad_pos_1 dfad_first\" id=\"_ad_652\"><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/mjhWkW\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/lastbestnews.com\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/201703_capeair_variable.jpg\" alt=\"CapreAir_Variable\" width=\"510\" height=\"180\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-18069\" \/><\/a><\/div><\/div><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is great news.
