Book on Senior High murals on sale at open house tonight

Two years of hard work by the Save Our Murals Committee at Billings Senior High School will come together tonight during an event that will feature a book launch, art auction and open house at Senior High. Copies of the book, “If the Walls Could Speak: The Iconic Murals of Billings Senior High School,” will be available for $45 during the open house, set for 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The silent auction will take place in the old gym, featuring dozens of donated works by Kira Fercho, Dirk Lee, Kim Jette, Ben Steele and many others. Hundreds view Senior High’s history-rich murals

If you see a lot of people in Billings rubbing sore necks on Tuesday, it might have something to do with the “Save Our Murals” open house at Billings Senior High School Monday night. Hundreds of people turned out to gawk up at murals painted by generations of Senior High students, to donate money toward their restoration and preservation and to put in orders for a book on the murals, planned for publication next fall. Senior High plans mural party, asks help in finding artists

If you’re interested in the effort to preserve and restore the 100-some murals painted on the walls of Billings Senior High School, mark March 16 on your calendar. That’s the night the “Save Our Murals” volunteer committee is having an open house at Senior High.
