A panel discussion on “Opioids: A Community Issue,” is scheduled for Sunday, April 29, at First United Methodist Church, 2800 Fourth Ave. N. in downtown Billings. This is a busy week for Shametrius Long. Long, who is in Billings with AmericCorps Volunteers in Service to America, was the main organizer of two events being held today to examine aspects of hunger and homelessness. I did something a little out of the ordinary for this church visit. It was my intention from the start to avoid special days like Easter or Christmas, in order to witness “normal” services.
