Jack Grieves, a lecturer in forensic linguistics at Aston University in Birmingham, England, has published a series of maps showing the comparative usage rates of “bad words” in the continental United States, as they appear in Tweets. Fromberg museum salutes 50 years of Bridger Youth Rodeo

FROMBERG—Butch Bratsky and Monica McDowell are standing inside the Clarks Fork Valley Museum, surrounded by photographs and memorabilia paying tribute to the Bridger Youth Rodeo. Bratsky, now a senior executive with Stockman Bank in Billings, grew up in Bridger and went on to become the national collegiate bull-riding champion in 1974. ‘Fishtail’ film captures ranch life during calving season

Two childhood friends have made a movie that quietly, beautifully captures the rhythms of life on a Montana cattle ranch. Andrew Renzi and Tylee Abbott, who were reared in Pennsylvania and now live in New York, will bring clips of their documentary, “Fishtail,” to the annual summer fundraiser for the Stillwater Protective Association this weekend. Visitors to the greater Yellowstone area can use any number of apps, websites and other digital tools to find a great hotel or restaurant, relying on reviews and tips from locals and other tourists to decide which one is right for them. A few more clicks can yield turn-by-turn directions and detailed street maps. But what about the great outdoors?
