The Valinor Quartet will be performing in Billings on Tuesday, March 6.

An award-winning quartet that plays a unique blend of pop, jazz and world music will return to the Mayflower Congregational Church, 2940 Poly Drive in Billings, this Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.

The show is a benefit for the Billings Brain Injury Support Group and will feature the Valinor Quartet, a collaboration between a Grammy-winning accordionist Victor Prieto and the International String Trio — Slava Tolstoy on guitar, Rob Flax on violin and Greg Feingold on bass.

The all-acoustic ensemble encompasses the diverse cultural backgrounds of its members, hailing from Russia, Spain and the United States. The quartet’s riveting instrumental displays make use of a breathtaking range of styles — from classical music, the Beatles and Gypsy jazz to Klezmer, popular movie soundtracks and tango.

General admission at the door is $20 for adults, $15 for seniors 65 and older and $10 for students. For reservations, call Ian Elliot at 656-2744.
