YWCA Billings is accepting nominations for Salute Honorees through 5 p.m. on Jan. 29.
The Salute celebration has focused on the achievements of women for 34 years, and for the past three years has also honored a male who goes above and beyond in helping YWCA in ending violence against women and children.
The winners will be inducted into the distinguished group of YWCA Billlings’ Salute Honorees at the Salute Celebration and Awards ceremony, scheduled for 5:30 to 8 p.m. on April 13 at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel in downtown Billings.
YWCA is also accepting applications through Feb. 15 for its Salute to Students Scholarship awards program. Female students in our region who will be enrolled in a degree program at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university for fall 2018 and who meet the criteria for the scholarship can apply. Finalists will awarded either a $1,500 or a $3,000 scholarship.
