At this Friday’s Holiday ArtWalk, Tina Haider Jensen’s functional slab pottery will be on display at Underground Culture Krew, 12 N. 29th St.
ArtWalk Downtown Billings, now in its 23rd season, is sponsoring the Holiday ArtWalk this Friday night from 5 to 9, at venues all over the downtown.
The Holiday ArtWalk will include more than three dozen season-member and one-time-participant locations, each with a separate gallery page on ArtWalk’s new, mobile-friendly website, artwalkbillings.com.
One-time participants at this Holiday ArtWalk will be:
♦ Cricket Clothing Co., 2814 Second Ave. N., hosting Billings artist Elaine Klicker.
♦ North Acres Real Estate, 2700 Second Ave. N., exhibiting work by middle school artists in its first ArtWalk event.
♦ The Fieldhouse Annex Bakery and Coffee House, 2601 Minnesota Ave., presenting a collaborative show by SUMUS, an artistic quintet.
♦ Free Spirit Rock School Band playing at Montana Brewing Co., 113 N. Broadway.
♦ Karen Klement and Lavonne Girardin of Group Destination Planners, showing their art work on the second floor of the Carlin Hotel, 2501 Montana Ave.
♦ Limber Tree Yoga Studio, 212 N. 29th St., featuring artists Rilie Stovall and Jacki Tabbert Elliott.
♦ Women’s History Museum, 2822 Third Ave. N., No. B3, showing the work of Rabbit Knows Gun (Crow).
This Friday’s event is also the last chance to buy tickets for ArtWalk’s 50/50 raffle. Tickets are $1 each and available at all season-member locations. One lucky ticket will be drawn at Yellowstone Art Museum this Saturday at 10 a.m. The winner will receive half of the raffle proceeds, redeemable in credit for art or other merchandise at any ArtWalk 23rd season-member location. ArtWalk is free, family-friendly and weather-resistant. On-street metered parking is free; rates vary at city parking garages.
