As we prepare for what looks like the first real storm of the winter, here’s a little video from the Montana Highway Patrol to remind you why it’s so important to be careful when driving in lousy conditions.
It should also remind you why, when conditions are lousy and you see a big wreck ahead of you, to slow the hell down and be extra-specially hyper-careful, for the love of God.
This apparently was posted by the MHP earlier this month and shows, thanks to a dash cam, a series of wrecks last December a little outside of Missoula. Given what took place here, I’m surprised these troopers didn’t pull out their service revolvers and permanently disable a few vehicles, since their drivers clearly had no business being on the road.
