Montana Parlay: Up With Montana Boys
Before things get too negative, and trust me, they will after watching last week’s game, I want to lead with something truly awesome:
Thank yall for helping me locate @konidole7 I spoke to him & let him know how much he encouraged all of us! #Truth pic.twitter.com/ZazgRyjkdG

One of the best corner backs in NFL history has been very vocal via social media about how inspired he is about Koni Dole, the MSU player who lost a leg after a tragic play in high school and that we covered extensively in our season preview. How can you not be inspired by Koni? The dude loses his leg and still achieves his goal of playing for the Cats. The only way this story could get better is if Koni could convince Prime Time to suit up for the Cats secondary.
Montana -17 vs Weber State
Griz games are getting downright hard to pick. How can I lay this many points with a team that struggles to move the ball and score points? UC Davis should have easily covered, if not won, last week’s game if it weren’t for their QB pulling a Bleskin twice in Griz territory (not to mention, what the hell was the UC Davis coach doing punting on 4th and 1 in the fourth quarter when they were down 8? Griz promptly scored on the ensuing drive to seal the cover). The thing is, the Griz defense is damn good. They alone can swing momentum in a game at any point and this Cat fan is officially nervous.
I still think 17 points is too much, given what I’ve seen from the Griz on offense the last two weeks.
Griz 27 Weber State 13. Griz win but don’t cover
Montana State -16 vs Sac State
Oh boy. Not much you can say about how truly horrific the Cat defense looks right now. Things need to change now if they want to make the playoffs. It’s a shame too, Prukop is having a career year and their offense can play with anyone. This is it, if the Cats don’t pick it up on defense and cover the spread against a team that lost to Weber State, then they are done. The only thing that can rival the intensity of a Cat/Griz or homecoming game is a Saturday night game with 15,000 loud, drunken fans.
Montana State 44 Sac State 20. Cats cover.
Montana Parlay is 7-3 on the season
