On The Road Again
If you are paying attention you know that I am now 6-2 on the year. Things could change this week as both teams travel and play teams I don’t know a whole lot about, and in the case of UC Davis, I know nothing about.
Montana -13 at UC Davis
Can we say that the Griz are good enough to cover a 13 point spread on the road? Granted, the crowds at Aggie stadium are usually quite paltry and the Griz should be able to run their offense with out any communication problems. However, besides the NDSU game, I don’t think we’ve seen enough from the Griz to be able to win by two touchdowns on the road. UC Davis doesn’t have a win, but they have had a tough schedule. I’m taking the points in this one.
Montana 31 UC Davis 20
Montana Sate -7.5 at Northern Arizona
The Cats defense finally stepped up against Cal Poly especially in the first quarter, can the defensive momentum continue? I think this is a very important game for the Cats. They are going on the road to an indoor stadium against a team that can pass. The Cats pass defense is atrocious. Prukop should be enough to win this one, but I don’t think the Cats defense can cover a 7.5 point spread. I’m not too confident in either of these picks but my lock of the week is the over in this one. I look forward to lots of points and a last minute victory for the Cats.
