#TBT – Trouble in Gilford
Throwing back to this unfortunate moment in Gilford history. When a man was stuck on a wire, and no one but a (seemingly disinterested) photographer was around to help.
We found this gem on Ellen Baumler’s amazing Montana Moment’s Blog. It is a consistently good source of interesting Montana history. She says of the photo: “Some days simply do not go well. Take this fellow for example. What series of unfortunate events left him dangling from a wire above Gildford? We may never know, because nothing is known about this photo except that it was taken in 1917.”
